Innovation Creation Division

In the Innovation Division of the TGIF Institute, faculty members, researchers, and students from diverse fields collaborate with local residents, municipalities, companies, and other stakeholders to address regional challenges and co‑create the next‑generation society. Starting from the matching of advanced technologies with regional needs, we pursue social‑implementation‑oriented projects centered on visualization, aiming to build smart local communities where the digital and the real are seamlessly integrated. These activities are designed to promote regional deployment of Society 5.0 while balancing well‑being and sustainability. Through interdisciplinary initiatives such as the “SmaSo × TGIF Challenge Project,” we bridge academic knowledge and technological capabilities with the community, fostering co‑creative and spiral‑type innovation.
