Background:
In January 2021, Hiroshima University launched the “Carbon Neutral x Smart Campus 5.0 Declaration” with the goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2030. This declaration sets a goal of achieving carbon neutrality for energy used on campus, including commuting to and from work and school. To achieve this goal, the widespread use of electric vehicles (EVs) is essential. Thus, through interviews, we would like to hear your genuine opinions and thoughts on EVs. We especially invite participants who are open to exchanging ideas and information.
Focus group interview detail:
One focus group interview will be conducted in English with a maximum 8 participants. The session will be conducted in a lively and interactive atmosphere.Participants in the interviews will receive a gift card worth 3,000 yen as a token of our gratitude.
Date and time：Oct 26th (From 4pm, approximately 2 hours）
Venue：Mirai Crea Meeting Room 3
Participant’s requirement：
• Students at Hiroshima University
• Possess a valid driving license for use in Japan
• (Especially welcome) car owners
What we want to know:
We are interested in learning about your environmentally friendly habits, your awareness, experiences, and interest in purchasing EVs. We also want to hear your general thoughts about EVs and how you would utilize EV car-sharing services if they were available on campus. Additionally, we’re keen to hear your ideas on how to increase HU members’ interest in EVs.
