The work task includes the following:
・Assists in the administrative work of organizing, implementing, promoting, and photographing events of TGIF (seminar/workshop)
・Attend the event’s preparation meeting when it is needed
・Update internal/external event posts on the TGIF webpage
・Collect and arrange data from official statistical websites
・Translate and proof-checking the survey questionnaire
・(Sometime) Miscellaneous office works
The skills necessary for the positions:
・English/Japanese communication skills (ideally both; Indonesian language is extra advantage)
・Motivated learners
・Website updates(word press skill)
・Desk work and Microsoft Office
・Photographing skills
The flow of application:
1) An applicant must email Dr.Lee Chui Ying at cying@hiroshima-u.ac.jp to show his/her interest. The email should contain the applicant’s motivation, strength, and weekly availability. Please refer to our website https://tgif.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/en/about/ for the descriptions and previous events of TGIF.
2) TGIF office will respond to those emails and arrange a 30 mins interview of the candidates with TGIF members. Online interview is also available according to the candidates’ situation.
3) The hours and days of work will be discussed to the greatest extent possible.
4) We’ll also consider hiring short-term event-oriented candidates.
