On June 26, the “1st Hiroshima Agrivoltaic Model Study and Promotion Conference” was held in a hybrid format, both on-site and online.
During this conference, two lecturers with experience in agrivoltaics gave presentations to the participants.
This event provided an opportunity to deepen understanding of agrivoltaics while discussing its benefits and future challenges through case studies.

About the Hiroshima Agrivoltaic Model Study and Promotion Conference
TGIF aims to promote the integration of agrivoltaics into regional agriculture as part of efforts to create the next generation of sustainable communities.
The Hiroshima Agrivoltaic Model Study and Promotion Conference seeks to investigate key issues such as the development of low-cost and safe system installations, crop selection suitable for the Hiroshima region, shading rate assessments, and human resource development. This initiative is carried out in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, with the goal of formulating a model for a demonstration project.
